BAAL Design in Brussels at the vintage furniture fair: Hunting for iconic design pieces from flea markets

During our stay in Brussels, we visited one of the most famous vintage furniture fairs in Europe, which brings together renowned exhibitors from different countries. It is an event where it is possible to find original pieces by the world’s most sought-after designers such as Mies van der Rohe, Mario Bellini, Pierre Paulin and other key names from the history of modern design.

The fair represents a unique opportunity to see the development of design through the decades in one place – from materials and styles, to colors and textiles that are rarely seen in modern production today. It is precisely such pieces that often become part of the interiors that BAAL Design creates, because they bring additional value and character to the space.

Thanks to excellent organization, each purchased item can be immediately packaged and transported anywhere in the world. During this visit, we selected an original Eames armchair that is already on its way to the apartment of one of our clients.

In addition to the rich selection of furniture, the fair is also known for its friendly atmosphere. Exhibitors are very open to conversation, and spontaneous apperitivo moments are often available on site – such as champagne that arrived that morning from Denmark.
